Born and raised in Fiji in a Hindu family, Pastor Rita Jeet became the first in her extended family to receive Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1996. Since then, her life has reflected a passionate commitment to serving God and sharing the Good News.

She and her husband, Yogesh—her childhood friend—have been married for 38 years and are blessed with three children (two married) and one grandchild. In 2000, the Jeet family immigrated to Canada, where Rita has hosted television programs for over 15 years while working in the freight and customs industry.

A lifelong learner and minister, Pastor Rita holds a Bachelor of Theology from Pacific Life Bible College and a Master of Theology from Life Pacific University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Ministry at Asbury Theological Seminary, which she anticipates completing in May 2026. She also serves as a board member and adjunct professor at Pacific Life Bible College and is part of the Global Doctrine Committee of the International Foursquare Church.

Her ministry has taken her across the globe—preaching, teaching, equipping pastors and leaders, and hosting gatherings for women, couples, and youth—all for the advancement of God’s Kingdom. Ordained in 2016 under the Foursquare Gospel Churches of Canada at Horizon Church, Pastor Rita continues to serve with a burning passion to “reach the lost at any cost.”

Above all, Pastor Rita loves God and loves people. Her calling is to shepherd, teach, and lead others into a deeper walk with Christ.
