Craig & Shanda
“Shanda and I first met at Horizon Church. We were married here in 1992 and were sent out in 1995 to assist in a church in Campbell River. We were there for 7 years and our three daughters, Alexandra, Anika, and Alaina were all born there. We then spent a wonderful season as Associate Pastors at Northgate Foursquare Church in Courtenay (2002-2010).
When we moved on from there we returned to Horizon and were in a transition season for a couple of years as we prayerfully considered our next steps. We became Lead Pastors in September 2014. We love doing life and ministry together as a couple and family and now as Grandparents. Our greatest joy is inspiring, equipping, and empowering people to life transformation through the freedom and purpose found in Jesus.”

This week’s message challenged us to rethink what we’re counting as important. Like Paul in Philippians 3, we can gain everything and still miss what matters most. Real transformation doesn’t come from chasing success, hacks, or outcomes—it comes from knowing Jesus. When we reorder our lives around Him, everything else finds its proper place.
